Zikrr is a band that was born out of a shared dream and passion for music. It was brought to life by Mohit Sharma in 2012, and since then, we have been creating music that truly resonates with our audience. Our six-member Delhi-based band is made up of talented musicians, each one adding their own magic to our sound.

BAND MEMBERS
VIDHI
Vidhi Tyagi, the powerful voice of Zikrr, has been influenced by icons like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Beyoncé Knowles. Growing up in a musically inclined family, her talent was nurtured with both classical and Western vocal training. Through dedication and countless hours of practice, she honed her abilities to become a remarkable performer. Vidhi's journey with Zikrr began when the band was searching for a new female lead. Connections in the music faculty led them to her, and after a swift audition, she was chosen almost immediately. On stage, she felt right at home, quickly becoming the face of Zikrr. Her dynamic presence and powerful voice continue to captivate audiences and elevate the band’s performances.
JOLLY
Jolly grew up immersed in the melodic sounds of his mother’s Gurbani singing, which led him to pursue classical vocal training from a young age. Influenced by icons like Satinder Sartaaj, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and Sardul Sikandar, he mastered various styles of singing, becoming one of the leading male vocalists in the city. Jolly's journey with Zikrr began serendipitously when the band discovered him through a friend's Instagram story, where he was singing a song by Satinder Sartaaj. Selected for his exceptional talent, he made an immediate impact on stage with his electrifying performances, solidifying his place as a core member of Zikrr.
MOHIT
Mohit Sharma, the visionary bassist behind Zikrr, drew inspiration from legends like AR Rahman, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and The Local Train. Originally a lawyer, Mohit left his legal career to pursue his passion for music, founding Zikrr in 2012 with friends from a local music school. His determination and dedication have been the driving force behind Zikrr's growth, turning it into a powerful and respected name in the music industry.
HIMANSHU
Himanshu Rai, influenced by legends like Baiju Dharamjan, Blackstratblues, Tom Morello, and Kalyan Barua, was initially on a path to become a Company Secretary. His musical journey began when he met Lavanya Khanna, forming a lasting musical friendship. A self-taught guitarist, Himanshu is now renowned for his energetic playing and iconic beard. When Zikrr needed a new lead guitarist, Lavanya, the band's keyboardist and his longtime friend, introduced him. His impressive playing style secured his place in the band, making him one of Zikrr's most improved and recognizable members.
MOHIT
Mohit Sharma, influenced by drumming legends like Joey Jordison, Jay Row Kavi, and Darshan Doshi, was introduced to music at a young age in his musical household, where he picked up the sticks early on. Although educated as an Electrical Engineer, Mohit chose to follow his passion for music, embarking on his journey as a musician. Affectionately known as 'Dada' among Zikrr's loyal fans, Mohit has had quite the journey. Initially traveling from his hometown of Rohtak to play drums for Zikrr, he eventually relocated to Delhi as the band grew. Mohit is renowned for his spine-chilling drum solos, and once he takes the drumsticks in hand, he brings the stage to life, captivating audiences with his electrifying performances
LAVANYA
Lavanya Khanna, influenced by icons like AR Rahman, Jordan Rudess, John Paul Jones, and Yanni, has been a musical prodigy since a young age. Overcoming adversity, he honed his skills to become a multi-instrumentalist, excelling in various instruments. Known for his signature noodle-haired persona, Lavanya is a master of his craft. His journey with Zikrr began when he met Mohit Sharma, his neighbor, and together they forged a musical partnership. As an integral part of Zikrr, Lavanya's unique keyboard solos and musical contributions are central to the band's distinctive sound
